Course content
|
The attention is given to specific requirements of partial categories of animals. It handles especially the high productive animals and animals raised under ecological condition. The course deepens the knowledge of specific substances designed for hygiene and preservation of feeds and animals. Feeding of single kinds and caregories of farm animals. Balance for livestock in farming business. Influence of nutrition and feeding for the economics production of animal product.

Learning outcomes
|
The course fundamentally deepens the knowledge obtained in the course Bases of nutrition and feeding farm animals. The course deepens the knowledge of specific substance designed for hygiene and preservation of feeds and animals.
Competence on the importance and functions of essential nutrients in the animal organism. Ability to characterize feeds, the bsuitability of classification for livestock. Competence for appropriate preparation and preservation of feed in relation to individual species and categories of livestock. Ability to define nutrient and energy needs, including optimization of feed diets.

Prerequisites
|
Ability to define the nutritional value of feed, orientation in basic methods of feed analysis, including methods for sampling. Calculation of energy values. Ability to assess the quality of feed.

Combined exam
Předmět je ukončen zkouškou, které předchází průběžné hodnocení. Pro splnění předmětu je požadováno úspěšné hodnocení testů.
