Course content
Lectures: 1 - Communication process - definition, characteristics. 2 - Verbal managerial communication - written. 3 - Verbal managerial communication - oral. 4 - Communication with the group, in teamwork. 5 - Presentation. 6 - Management of meetings. 7 - Conflict situations and their solutions. 8 - Assertive communication. 9 - Coaching, mentoring. 10 - Nonverbal managerial communication. 11 - Mobbing, bossing. 12 - Communication with the mass media, the press conference. 13 - Intercultural communication. Seminars: Seminars are oriented on discussion the topic of lectures.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Work with text (with textbook, with book), Activating (simulations, games, drama)
Learning outcomes
The goal of this subject is to get an overview of the importance, functions and major fields of application of communication skills in the business of manager. The subject deals with introduction of the principles of meeting people, forms of communication in the form of oral and written, with communication in the organization and team as well as communications with the public.
Students understand the basic terminology and principles of effective managerial communication. They will be able to successfully communicate with employees inside the organization and with customers and other key stakeholders outside the organization.
Prerequisites
The course of Managerial communication is a prerequisite for the course of Management.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Written examination, Seminar work

Credit Requirements: Work an individual project. Presentation of team project. Presence and activity on seminars. Examination Requirements: Obtaining at least 65 % points out of 100 % in the examination test. Written examination and then verbal examination.
