Lectures: 1. Introduction to project management issues. 2. Historical development of PJM. 3. PJM Knowledge Areas. 4. Processes and phases. 5. Planning process. 6. Control process. 7. Schedule and links. 8. Risk management. 9. Methods of decision making. 10. Human Resources in Projects. 11. Stakeholders. 12. The contractual framework of projects. 13. Project management software. 14. Current trends in PJM (lecture of practitioner). Exercises: Within the framework of the exercises the students work on a team seminar work, which corresponds both to the scope and to the full application for support from the Ministry of Industry and Trade for SMEs within the framework of the project challenges and practice the project team management in MS Project environment.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to understand the system of practical procedures and methodological instructions for project activities. The course focuses on the management and coordination of project activities that aim at efficient and effective use of available information for the right design of projects. Appropriate analytical and synthetic tools available in the project activity process are used here. The course deals with the management and creation, planning and implementation of projects. Practical use of project activities includes the preparation and submission of a project plan for SMEs
Students understand the basic principles of management.
