Course content
Lectures: 1. Introduction to strategic management 2. Vision, Mission, Objectives, Strategy 3. General typology of strategies 4. Extended typology of strategies 5. Basic analysis of internal and external environment 6. Start-up 7. The influence of the manager on the strategy 8. Business model 9. Strategy implementation process 10. BSC and KPI systems 11. Extensive enterprise analyzes 12. SME strategy 13. Knowledge enterprise and corporate culture 1. Free topic (New Trends in Strategic Management) Practical classes: The practical classes consist of a team project that is based on case studies.

Learning outcomes
The subject introduces the theory and practice of strategic management, introduces the terminology, models, principles and their application in specific problems of enterprises, effective utilization of resources to achieve the goals of an enterprise.
Students should understand the basic principles of strategic management, they are able to manage and elaborate strategy of production and service enterprises.

Oral examination, Test

Credit requirementst: Attendance (max. 1 absence) Creating a team and an individual essay (see Moodle requirements) Credits will be awarded not earlier than 14 days before the end of the semester, in accordance with the Dean's measure and the academic year schedule Students have the obligation to check the exam and the credits (stag, index) at least 5 days after the deadline. Exam : Form: oral and written Classroom: see STAG 3 attempts Exam terms will be given three weeks before the start of the examination period in sufficient number and capacity, or may take place within the 13th week of the semester to be modified on the basis of a reasoned bulk request from the students. In the last but one week of the examination period, second attempts only are scheduled and the 3rd attempts only are scheduled in last week. The written exam is a test in Moodle (a mix of questions from the topics discussed), min. 70% after completing the test a student can do the oral exam in classroom A325. Exam topics will be published in Moodle in the 12th week.
