Learning outcomes
|
The course aims to improve students´ ability to communicate in fluent English, to describe more complex events and phenomena, and to express their opinion about current society, social, religious or cultural issues.
Students will improve their comprehension to spoken English, extend their passive and active vocabulary in social, religious and cultural areas. They will practice and develop their ability to express themselves promptly and naturally in these areas. They will learn how to present a chosen topic in the form of an English Powerpoint presentation.

Prerequisites
|
Speaking skills on the intermediate level at least, students without this knowledge and active ability to communicate and comprehand will be eliminated from the course.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Analysis of student's language skills
70% attendance. The final 20-minute English presentation in Powerpoint.
