Course content
Dialogues and discussions over selected topics focused on specific branches of study (or on summarizing topics dealing with current social, religious and cultural reality). Listening to audio materials (or video recordings) and activation exercises as a supplement.

Learning outcomes
The objective of this intensive course is an active development of communication skills and students ´ competences. Modern methods of language teaching will apart from controlled conversation include work with magazine and newspaper articles, audio and video recordings and additional exercises. The emphasis will be put on the elimination of initial psychological barrier during the use of a foreign language. Students will systematically enrich their vocabulary in application to the acquired grammar and develop their ability to react naturally, articulate and reveal their attitudes and views on their field of study and its subject matter (or on summarizing topics concerning current social, religious and cultural reality). Students´ language level will be taken into consideration.
Ability to use communication skills and competences actively, extension of vocabulary in application to obtained grammar essentials, ability to react adequately to the issues of the field of study.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of Spanish.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance assessment, Analysis of student's language skills

Active participation, attendance, presentation, individual activation work developing a particular situation communication, homework aimed at audio and video-recordings and work with them.
