Course content
The content of the lecture is an overview and interpretation of inland navigation rules (Navigational Safety Code) and offshore waters navigation rules (International Collegiate Prevention Regulations COLREG). The content of the exercises is the practice of sailing and motorboat control with the instructor and training of the basic exercises required by the State Navigation Administration during the tests.

  • Class attendance - 20 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 10 hours per semester
  • Preparation for classes - 35 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
1. To teach the students basic of boating on sailboat and motor boat 2. To deliver basic information about the rules of sailing and boating on inland and shore waters.
