Course content
1. 1.1. Gamekeeping cynology (knowledge of races and groups of hunting dogs, proper rearing, rearing and training, leading and use of hunting dogs); 1.2. Diseases of hunting dogs (symptoms of diseases and their treatment), 1.3. Diseases of game animals (knowledge of the most important diseases of game animals, prevention of diseases and their treatment); 2. 2.1. Hunting weapons, ammunition, tools and devices (rules of their use and safety measures); 2.2. Basics of first aid of injuries and during performance of the gamekeeper´s rights; 3. 3.1. Methods of hunting including catching and hunting rules; 3.2. Hunter´s tracking; 3.3. Treatment of game, adjustment and assessment of hunting trophies.

  • Preparation for credit - 50 hours per semester

Student performance assessment, Combined exam, Seminar work

100% attendance at seminars, completion of practical exercises, developing a plan of game management and hunting statistics.
