Course content
Work 5 days in breeding centers - fish hatcheries and breeding facilities - special establishments, eg GFC - RIFCH Vodňany, FFPV SBU.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monitoring, Demonstration, Skills training, Work activities (workshops)
  • Class attendance - 45 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 5 hours per semester
  • Semestral paper - 12 hours per semester
  • Preparation for classes - 90 hours per semester
  • Field trip - 8 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Get to know with fisheries process operations, its problems and acquire work habits in pond aquaculture and in special facilities used for fish farming.
Getting knowledge from specific operating conditions. Solving operational problems and acquiring work habits in pond aquaculture and special fish breeding facilities.
Prerequisites
Orientation in space with regard to work risks. Attend work safety training.

Assessment methods and criteria
Analysis of student's work activities (technical works)

Protective equipment and training in work safety prior to admission to work. Practice agreement with the provider.
