Learning outcomes

The seminar introduces the complex issues of text and discourse. It deals first with the text as a comprehensive linguistic expression and its construction, then with the text as an "open" unit intertwined with other texts and communication expressions. It reflects the relationship between text and discourse and the role of the author of the text and the actor of discourse, more generally focuses on the formation and "negotiation" of meaning during communication interaction and on language as a means of social construction of reality.
Ability to communicate on level B2+/C1.
