Course content
1. Introduction into the theme 2. Characteristics of an administrative and legal language 3. Organisations and institutes of legal bodies 4. Basics of state law and constitutional law 5. Being in residence: reporting residence 6. Law of tenancy: rental agreement 7. Law of tenancy: right of cancellation 8. Studying and employment law: matriculation and work permit 9. Employment law II: work contract 10. Employment law III: Cancelling the work contract 11. Oral presentation 12. Oral presentation 13. Oral presentation

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Work with text (with textbook, with book), Monitoring, Demonstration, Activating (simulations, games, drama)
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to introduce the students to the basic vocabulary regarding the sphere of law and adminstration. The students will be trained to be able to use these vocabulary in oral and written way in contact with public authorities and other areas, were legal terms a used in daily life.
Ability to communicate orally and in written form on level B1/B2.
Prerequisites
Ability to communicate on level B1-B2

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance assessment, Analysis of student's language skills, Seminar work

Active participation during the course and being regularly prepared for the course. Oral and written presentation of an article.
