Writing an order and an order confirmation 7. Giving informations about terms of delivery 8. Term sof payment and issuing of an invoice 9. Reminder and complaints of goods 10. Grant application/request 11. Grant/non-profit proposal description 12. Grant writing: timetable and forms 13. Grant writing: calculation of costs 14. Summary

Learning outcomes
During the seminar the students will be introduced to the basic of German business writing, as well as to the writing of grant proposals. The course is focusing on the development of the writing skills of the students, especially with regard to the use of German as a technical language.
Students will gain skills in the area of written language. They will be oriented in a variety of genres, and especially in the context of administrative styles of the present.
Prerequisites
Students have a good knowledge of the German language, to be able to write short and longer texts on the basis of the given themes.

Student performance assessment, Analysis of student's language skills

Active participation during the course, written performances. The subject will be taught in German language.
