Course content
Course Content - lectures and seminars: 1. Definition of basic concepts in the area of financial management. 2. Influence of time factor in the financial calculations. 3. Resources for financial management - accounting system, financial statements. 4. Financial strategy, short-term and long-term planning budgets. 5. Financial Analysis: * Analysis of absolute indicators. * Analysis of financial ratios. * Analysis of system indicators, bankruptcy and credibility models. 6. Modern approach to the assessment of business performance, benchmarking, balanced scorecard, scoring and rating. 7. Investing activities: * Identification of capital expenditures and income. * Methods of evaluation of investment projects. 8. The risk analysis. Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with more areas of financial management. The investment and capital financing enables the implementation of strategic goals. The main areas of this course are financial analysis, planning and investment decisions that mediate students detailed orientation and skills in calculation and evaluation of economic indicators.
Students understand the advanced principles and relations in the area of financial management.
