The course is focused on activities that precede, accompany and follow a standard project management from the perspective of tenders, financial frameworks and controlling and auditing. It brings students to the basic aspects of IT procurement, tendering and bidding processes and methods, along with quality gates and audits, which bids and projects in various stages of their life cycle are subject to. In the first part of the lectures will be discussed the general rules and recommendations for these activities, examples of tender specifications from the public and private sectors and types of audits of IT projects. In the second part, the students learn about their practical examples and recommended best-practice procedures and approaches.
