Course content
Content of lectures: 1. Introduction to private law 2. A person within the meaning of NOZ 3. A thing within the meaning of NOZ 4. Legal facts 5. Consumer law 6. Family law 7. Family law II 8. Inheritance law 9. Rights in rem 10. Law of obligations 11. Selected provisions of named contracts 12. The Basics of business law Content of practicals: Seminar content corresponds with the lecture curriculum. The purpose of the exercise is to deepen the knowledge acquired during browsing practical examples and connect the theoretical knowledge with practice law.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the new Civil Code and the consequences resulting therefrom for everyday life, in the private and professional life. After the course the student will be able to understand the NOZ and apply its provisions to situations that meet him in real life in privacy or in professional life.
The graduate will be able to orientate in the Civil Code and will be able to write down the basic contract types applicable in private and professional life.

The prerequisite is a basic knowledge of legal terms in the extent of the course UAI / 648
