Course content
1) Introduction to Linux 2) System installation 3) System setup after installation and disk configuration 4) Installation of individual system components and configuration of HW drivers 5) TCP/IP configuration 6) Application installation and management 7) File system and directory structure 8) Working with files 9) User and group management 10) Setting permissions for files and directories and mounting file systems 11) Setting services (daemons) 12) SSH and WWW settings 13) File services - Samba, NFS

Basic course of UNIX administration In practice, the student will learn to install a Linux server and configure it They will learn how to manage user accounts They will also learn to run some services such as a web server or file server
The knowledge of the UNIX system. Installation and setting of the system Administration of the users and groups The running of the servers (SSH, file sharing, WWW, e-mail)

The knowledge of the Linux operating system as is teaching in the subject Operační systémy 1.
