To award the student work on the thesis with credits.

Prerequisites
Enrolment takes place usually in the 6th semester of Bachelor's study programme. The course credit is awarded for work on the preparation of the Bachelor's thesis; submission of the Bachelor's thesis is not a condition for awarding the course credit (if the student is unable to complete the work in the 6th semester of study, they are to enrol in UAI/893 in the next semester until the thesis is finished.)

Assessment methods and criteria
Analysis of the qualification work
The head of the department/institute awards the credit based on the supervisor's suggestion in case of a provable work on the thesis to the extent of at least the number of hours specified in the "Time demands" section. It is recommended to assess whether the Bachelor's thesis is ready for defence at a department/institute seminar. The fact that the Bachelor's thesis is judged as unready for the defence, while the student has meaningfully worked on it for the required number of hours, it is not a reason to not award the course credit.
