Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to continue in the course Business English I and broaden students' competence in the problems of professional English. The course focuses on the analysis of professional texts in terms of their structure and content, acquisition of professional vocabulary (explanation of English business vocabulary and abbreviations). The course also focuses on improvement of students' ability to produce English text and subsequently present it in a professional manner.
A practical knowledge of professional vocabulary and various professional styles; the ability of analysis and production of professional texts; the ability to prepare a professional presentation.

Prerequisites

Minimal knowledge of English at the B1 level of CEFR.

Student performance assessment, Test
Regular attendance (max. 3 absences) and active participation in the seminar Passing the final test (min. 60%) Completion of one presentation
