Course content
Content of practicals: The course is designed for students of chemistry master studies. They give reports on the progress of their thesis. Invited lecturers introduce students into current topics of chemical research.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Work with text (with textbook, with book), Projection
  • Preparation for classes - 12 hours per semester
  • Class attendance - 14 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Students´ reports on their theses, lectures on up-to-date chemical research.
Improvement of presentation skills. Improvement in discussions about research topic.
Prerequisites
Study of information sources for Master´s thesis.

Assessment methods and criteria
Analysis of student's language skills, Analysis of student's work activities (technical works), Analysis of the qualification work

Students enrol this course once a year. To pass the course a student must present at least once during the semestr his/her work on Master´s thesis.
