Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student performance assessment
Enrolment takes place in the 6th semester of Bachelor's study programme. The course credit is awarded for work on the preparation of the Bachelor's thesis; submission of the Bachelor's thesis is not a condition for awarding the course credit (if the student is unable to complete the work in the 6th semester of study, they are to enrol in UCH 893 Bachelor's Thesis Practice, 0 credits, in the next semester until the thesis is finished.) The supervisor may award the course credit if the student has done at least 50 (teaching) hours of work in the given semester. It is recommended to assess whether the Bachelor's thesis is ready for defence at a department/institute seminar. The fact that the Bachelor's thesis is judged as unready for the defence, while the student has meaningfully worked on it for the required number of hours, it is not a reason to not award the course credit.
