Course content
Preparation of students for the classwork, individual performance of students within the group and didactic analysis.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Work with text (with textbook, with book), Written action (comprehensive tests, clauses), Monitoring, Demonstration, Skills training, Laboratory, Activating (simulations, games, drama)
  • Class attendance - 60 hours per semester
  • Preparation for classes - 120 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Students are preparing practical lectures of chemistry (aim of the lesson, structure of the lesson, basic definitions, etc.) and teach independently under a supervision of an experienced teacher. They acquire skills needed for effectively teaching. The aim is to obtain the complex teaching experience including and administrative work at a high school.
Students gaine the overview about the practical activities of the teacher, check the way of realization of the class preparation on their own, practice different teaching methods and familiarize with modern instruments for the tuition. They acquire skills and habits needed for effectively teaching of the subject and deepen their communication skills and the relationship teacher- student. They themselves prepare and teach a continual sequence of a topic.
Prerequisites
Students are supposed to have the knowledge of courses in general didactics as well as in psychology and pedagogics.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance assessment, Analysis of student's language skills, Analysis of student's work activities (technical works), Interview, Hospitace, Interim evaluation

Evaluation of 8 lessons at which the student is prezent as a listener. Preparation for lessons under the guidance of a tutor (high-school teacher) - 10 lessons per week for four weeks, lessons at different levels (grades).
