Course content
|
- Use of massage techniques in practice; - Acquisition and fixing of skills in the basic techniques of kinesiotherapy, individual and group approach and in nursing rehabilitation (positioning, verticalization, walking, work with rehabilitation tools); - Practical application of procedures of physical therapy in the field of electrotherapy, phototherapy, sonotherapy and magneto therapy; - Practical usage of soft and mobilization techniques; - Practice of diagnostic procedures in the field of physiotherapy, comprehensive examination of individual health status and needs assessment in terms of physiotherapy care; - Practical application of myoskeletal medicine techniques and other special kinesiotherapeutic techniques, particularly neurophysiology based techniques; - Fixing of the gained experience, particularly in the subjects of complex and special methodology of kinesiotherapy, rehabilitation Propaedeutic, reflex locomotion and physical therapy and their application in practice.

Learning outcomes
|
Practical training is carried out according to the study plan. It takes place under the supervision of specialist tutor - physiotherapist. Each physiotherapy tutor teaches in an area of practical training in which he/she specialises as well as is responsible for the clinical supervision of students at the practical training. The responsibility of the teacher will be shared with experienced practitioner (assistant of the clinical practical training), who will be involved in the student's training. The assistant of the clinical practical training will be a qualified expert in his/her field and will have appropriate training for the role of a tutor. Clinical workplaces for training will be selected based on the established standards - provided they meet the established standard criteria and the validity of and compliance will be contracted. The practice is organized in a faculty rehabilitation center, spa, and private and state rehabilitation centers.
- to gain practical experience; - to set and deepen the gained knowledge and experience in practice; - to become familiar with the organization of work of a physiotherapist in full operation; - to gain practical experience in complying with the principles applicable in epidemiology and hygiene; - to acquire the skills of good communication and cooperation with patients; - to acquire the skills to cooperate with the medical team.
