Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the theoretical concepts of plasma physics, its applications in astrophysics and its description, with emphasis on the magnetohydrodynamic one. In the second half of the course, students will be introduced to applications especially in solar plasma, such as waves and oscillations, instability in plasma or reconnection of the magnetic field.
The student will get the knowledge of high-temperature, astrophysical, and solar plasma physics.
