Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to provide students with basic knowledge of classical astronomy and astrophysics. This knowledge will provide the student with a broader overview of physics and will serve for a comprehensive education in physics.
After completing the course the student is able to solve astronomical and astrophysical problems, basic orientation in the night sky, observation by astronomical technique.
Prerequisites
Completed courses in General and Theoretical physics and Mathematics.

Assessment methods and criteria
Combined exam

Attendance at lectures and 75% attendance at seminars. Calculation of 70% of the exercises, answering at least 80 % of the content of the questions.
