Course content
1) General regulations of work safety in laboratories and during technical processes. 2) Work safety regulations and safety regulations during electrical and other special devices operating. 3) Injuries, mechanical injuries, injuries caused by heat, radiation, electrical current, tissue damages by chemicals, poisoning. First aid needed to be provided. 4) Work safety in electronics. 5) Safety regulations for operating and work with electrical devices. 6) Protection from dangerous touching of insulated and non-insulated parts of electrical devices. 7) Dangerous types of radiations: heat, infra-red, light, ultra-violet, Roentgen´s, radioactive and electromagnetic. 8) Rendering of electrical mains and devices in different environments and buildings. 9) Inspection measurements and electrical device inspection measurements. 10) Work safety regulations with flammable substances, fire prevention.

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing)

Learning outcomes
The course provides a general overview about basic norms, ordinances, recommendations and laws dealing with safety of running electrical devices, manipulation with chemicals, asids, poisons and radioactive substances.
Students will acquire professional qualification according to sec. 14 art. 1 of regulation ČÚBP and ČBÚ n. 50/78 Sb. including knowledge of regulations governing manipulation with dangerous substances.
