  • Class attendance - 28 hours per semester
  • Semestral paper - 20 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 8 hours per semester
  • Preparation for classes - 10 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
To introduce the students to the basics of modeling and simulation of electronic circuits using a software tool. The course deals with the NI Multisim SW whose licenses are used by our department. First part of the course works with the general philosophy of simulation programs so called SPICE-family, and modeling of the real electronics part. Then follow practical tasks. The course is completed by the case study.
To obtain a knowledge of basic method of el. circuits analysis, using of SW Multisim for their solving. A student will be able to solve basic electronics tasks using software and he/she will also understand the principles of these modeling SW tools.
Prerequisites
Advance knowledge of mathematics and physics.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance assessment, Development of laboratory protocols

Knowledge of basic principles of electronical parts, DC and AC current, measure devices, mathematical methods of complex numbers, el. circuits analysis.
