Learning outcomes
|
The seminar focuses on particular topics related to the Czech and European medieval history. Attention will be paid to the work with archive documents. An important part of the seminar represents the introduction of methodological approaches that are applied in the research in the history of Middle Ages.
The students have the opportunity to acquire comprehension of medieval history in the chronological limit mentioned above and in depth limited by fourteen 90-minute lectures per semester.

Oral examination, Student performance assessment
reading scholarly literature on the lectured subjects (12 books required) - a written review of a scholarly book - report on a subject or an written essay - two written tests - mandatory attendance
