The student has to have knowledge in: The system of legal relations in the sphere of health service. Legal regulations in the sphere of health care financing. Legal form of the status of a policyholder/client in the system of public health insurance. Legal rules solving the status of a patient in health care institutions. Duties of a physician and other health workers. Relation of health law to the European Union law. The student is able to: Make the system of health insurance clear. Analyse legal rules in the sphere of health law including its application to particular cases. Act in relations of health insurance. Practically use knowledge of health law. Provide basic legal aid in legal relations in the sphere of health service. |

Assessment methods and criteria |
Oral examination, Seminar work
Attendance at lectures, self-study and elaboration of a seminary work on the particular theme. Credit: Presentation of the seminary work and its defence. Activity and initiative at lessons. 80 % attendance at tutorials minimally. Successful pass out of the final test. |
