Course content
|
The student will be able to: - Define the terms: health and disease from the perspective of nursing care based on WHO definition. - Identify risk and protective factors in both physical and mental health. - Promote mental hygiene principles. - Understand the difference in different mental diseases and distinguish their common symptoms. - Identify causes and manifestations of burn out syndrome and its prevention and management. - Analyze and use apropriate communication skills in nursing care. - List characteristic manifestations of acute and chronic diseases and the consequences on adherence and compliance. - Respect priorities and life values of a client with respect to their culture, religion, context and situation in life.
