Learning outcomes
|
The course is focused on professional vocabulary and communication. At the end of the course, students will be able to work with the professional literature, i.e. search for information, manage situations that require communication and present their professional knowledge.
Ability to use professional vocabulary. Studying academic literature. Development of communicative skills in English using discussions and presentations. Expressing and defending opinions in English. Using grammar included in the topics.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral examination, Analysis of student's language skills, Test
Credit (zápočet) - at least 70% active participation in seminars (working with course materials, participating in professional discussions, prove the ability to present a professional topic corresponding to the focus of the study program in English - final written test - minimum score of 70% Exam: Students will prove their ability to prepare, structure, and present an assigned topic in English related to the student's programme and their ability to lead a professional discussion on the topic.
