Course content
1. Internet services (FTP, VoIP, cloud) and their use in health care 2. Hospital information systems I 3. Hospital information systems II 4. Hospital information systems III 5. Outpatient systems 6. MS Word using templates in correspondence and documentation 7. Arrangement of the Bachelor/Masters thesis basic rules, format, structure (page size, formatting of paragraphs and headings) 8. Arrangement of the Bachelor/Masters thesis style definitions, references, content generation 9. Citation standards and their use in scientific work 10. Credit

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Demonstration, Work with multi-media resources (texts, internet, IT technologies)
Learning outcomes
Better knowledge of proper presentation of documents made using IT, orientation in the health information systems, nutrition data processing by the means of MO Excel.
After successful completion of the subject the student should be able to use modern information and communication technologies both in his/her future studies and career.
Prerequisites
Basic work on PC and MS Windows operating system.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance assessment, Analysis of student's work activities (technical works)

Active participation in the classes, individual student preparation for seminars. Successful completion of practical task.
