Course content
1. Introduction to medical informatics 2. Medical information systems (modules and their links, dials) 3. Nutritional information on the Internet 4. MO Excel - calculations and data tables of nutritional values 5. MO Excel - charts and conditional formatting 6. MO Word - processing of data into lists, tables, basics of formal editing of documents 7. Specialized nutritional applications (Nutricom, NutriDan)

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Demonstration, Work with multi-media resources (texts, internet, IT technologies)
Learning outcomes
Better knowledge of proper presentation of documents made using IT, orientation in the health information systems, nutrition data processing by the means of MO Excel.
After successful completion of the subject the student should be able to use modern information and communication technologies both in his/her future studies and career.

Student performance assessment, Analysis of student's work activities (technical works)

90% presence of student in the classes, active participation in the classes, individual student preparation for seminars. Successful completion of practical task.
