Course content
1. First Good laboratory work, pipetting, weighing , preparation of solutions , centrifugation , basic biological samples , dilution of biological material , expressing analytical results ( SI) , information retrieval - Internet 2. Second Sampling of biological material, preanalytical factors, blood collection for determination of blood glucose 3. Third Physical and chemical examination of urine - diagnostic strips, chemical tests , reflex photometry 4. Urinary sediment native, dyed , SW sediment, sediment Hamburger , flow cytometry 5. Stool examination chemical and microscopic 6. Photometry, working with a light meter , determination of total protein , glucose , enzymes , validation of analytical methods - a protocol 7. Working with biochemical analyzer , turbidimetry , nephelometry, laboratory information system, internal quality control 8. Parameters of the internal environment - acid-base balance , ISE , flame atomic emission spectrophotometry, osmometry 9. Electrophoretic methods - serum protein electrophoresis , urine, hemoglobin, immunofixation electrophoresis of proteins, densitometry 10. Immunochemical methods ( LIA, ECLIA , FPIA , ELISA , RIA ) - cardiac , hormones , drugs , tumor markers 11. Examination of cerebrospinal fluid - the basic biochemistry , cytology - differentiation elements 12. Chromatography - TCL, HPTLC , HPLC , GC, GCMS (pharmacology and toxicology )

Learning activities and teaching methods
Learning outcomes
The course includes practical training in basic biochemical methods.
Students will acquire basic knowledge of proper laboratory work both in terms of laboratory instrumentation and in terms of analysis.
