Basic course of statistics
At the end of the course, students are able to define the structure of a data set for statistical analysis, visualize input data for analysis and interpret these visualizations, identify suitable methods of descriptive data analysis, formulate hypotheses of statistical data analysis, select correct statistical tests to confirm / refute hypotheses, interpret the results of statistical data evaluation (their own data and in the literature), and assess the suitability of the application of different statistical methods to different types of data.
