Course content
Laboratory exercises: 1. Preparation of infusion solutions in the laboratory 2. Preparation of magistraliter in the laboratory 3. Preparation of capsules and suppositories 4. Learning about the possibilities of controlled drug testing 5. Verifying the identity of medicines in pharmacies

Learning outcomes
Students will become familiar with the work and filling in pharmaceutical laboratories familiar with the issue sterility preparation of drugs , technologies, preparation of drugs and medicines and drug options control investigation .
Knowledge of control of medicines in pharmacies , mastering technological preparation of drugs and medicines and their packaging Validation Preparing magistraliter and infusion solutions in the laboratory The main principles of good production practice: storing drugs, Veneno and separanda Maximum and therapeutic doses Isotonic, isoacidic and euacidic solutions Sterilization Physical and chemical sterilization Microbiological testing - After completing the course, students will be familiar with how pharmacies are organized and how pharmaceuticals are controlled in the Czech republic - Students will understand basic pharmaceutical processes on the level of laboratory practices.
Prerequisites
Fundamentals of Pharmacology, Fundamentals of Analytical Chemistry.

Assessment methods and criteria
Test

100% attendance at seminars , 75 %- success in the final written test
