Lectures (2 lessons): 1. Legislative environment in the field of healthcare provision; public healthcare and the healthcare system in the Czech Republic, basic terms 2. Risk analysis in terms of possible health consequences 3. The health department's readiness to deal with extraordinary events and crisis situations 4. Organization of emergency medical services in the Czech Republic and in the world 5. Provider of emergency medical services and its tasks in the area of population protection 6. Documentation of trauma, emergency and crisis preparedness for entities providing health care to the population; hospital evacuation plans 7. Issues of extraordinary events with mass health impairment 8. Sorting systems, triage of persons in extraordinary events with mass health impairment 9. Continuity of health care for persons affected by an extraordinary event 10. CBRNE phenomenon and provision of health care to the population 11. Public health protection authorities and their tasks in the area of population protection 12. International Health Regulations 13. Highly contagious diseases subject to international health regulations and the procedure of the components of the rescue system in dealing with them in the context of population protection 14. System of psychosocial intervention care in the Ministry of Health for persons affected by an extraordinary event and others affected Seminars (1 lesson): 1. Medical aid and health care in ensuring the protection of the population 2.-3. Planning and implementation of basic organizational and technical measures for the protection of the population on an individual basis levels of healthcare management 4. Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the subject is to introduce the audience to the issue of providing health care to the population, including the principles of public health protection from the point of view of anti-epidemic measures during emergencies and crisis situations, and preparation for dealing with health impairment by a disease classified as a highly contagious disease according to international health regulations in the context of population protection.
After completing the course, the student understands and orients himself in the issue of providing health care to the population during extraordinary events and crisis situations and the activities of individual entities ensuring the provision of health care and public health protection.
