The course is designed as a theoretical and practical unit for midwives and is one of the basic professional subjects for midwives. It introduces a wide range of knowledge in gynaecology and caring for women of all ages (healthy and ill). This course is followed by other professional subjects dealing with the individual needs of women.
The student: - is able to describe the anatomy of the external and internal female genitals - can explain the menstrual cycle - can define the periods of a woman's life and their disorders - can list the examination methods used in gynaecology - adequately uses the basic terminology of gynaecology - is able to describe individual diseases in gynaecology, their examination methods and treatment |
