Course content
Lectures: 1. Relationships between perinatal development and neonatal period 2. Statistics of the perinatal period and neonatal period 3. Physiology of newborns 4. Pathology of newborns

Learning outcomes
The student will extend his/her knowledge in gynaecology, obstetrics and neonatal nursing care. The student will be acquainted with details of taking care of newborns and intensive care of risk newborns.
The student implements theoretical knowledge in taking care of newborns. The student implements theoretical knowledge in taking intensive care of risk newborns.

Conditioning subjects: KKL/CGYNC nebo UFM/CGYNC, KKL/CGYNK
