Course content
|
Workshops: (4 classes per week - 12 weeks) 1st week: A nursing unit and its equipment. Sickbed, signalisation equipment. Admission, replacement, discharge. 2nd week: Protection of the staff and the ill against an infection. Nosocomial infections. Decontamination. Desinfection. Sterilisation. 3rd week: Bandage technique, bandage principles. 4th week: Hygienic care. Problems of decubitus. 5th week: Nutrition of the ill. Diet. Enteral nutrition. 6th week: Urination. 7th week: Bladder catheterization in adults. 8th week: Cacation. Clysma. 9th week: Medical and examination position. Introduction to rehabilitation nursing. Basal stimulation. 10th week: Monitoring of physiological functions TT, TK, P, DF. 11th week: Administration of drugs - all forms. Principles of work with opiates. Application of injections, i.m. 12th week: Entry to the blood bed - introduction. Infusion therapy.
