The skills needed to achieve the level required in accordance with the specificity of philogiques studies are: - Lexical and civilizational content - Reading - Listening - Production / written interaction - Production / oral interaction 1. Introduction to synthesis writing and the theme of work 2. Universal basic income, hypothesis, and condition 3. Degrowth, economic crisis, and nominal reformulation 4. Sortition in politics and democratic representation 5. Fake news, the press, and media discourse 6. Presentations on political topics 7. Relationships and changing models of the couple 8. Mixed couples, media, and reported speech 9. Saying no to one's child and education 10. Education and the role of school today 11. Language courses and language learning 12. Bilingualism and language identity 13. Caricature, freedom of the press, and written style

Learning outcomes
|
The objective of the course is to strengthen students´ communicative skills and competencies in the standard French language at the level of C1 according to the Common European Framework for Languages and to develop their skills towards the level C1+.
- The student understands all types of spoken discourse, including complex lectures, presentations, and authentic audiovisual materials. - The student analyses long and complex factual texts as well as texts of contemporary prose. - The student identifies and interprets stylistic nuances in French texts. - The student presents a point of view in a perfectly structured, coherent, and well-argued manner, including on specialised topics. - The student produces an oral synthesis of information drawn from several authentic audio documents. - The student writes an argumentative text meeting C2-level requirements. - The student adapts register, style, and text organisation precisely to the communicative situation. - The student masters the basic principles of "commentaire composé".
