Course content
1. Cultural differences in the business world. Phone conversations. 2. Types of writing in business correspondence (order letter, claim, offer, etc.). Parts of business letters and emails (introduction, body, closing: frequent phrases). 3. Human resources (curriculum vitae, self-introduction letter). Job interviews. 4. Marketing and advertising (product advertising, planning the advertising campaign). 5. Purchases and sales (sales contract, types of customers). 6. The company (types of companies and societies, type of management positions).

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquire specific language competencies for business, especially in the field of acquiring basic vocabulary in economics and international trade. The secondary objective is to become familiar with communication situations common in the business world (order, confirmation of receipt, complaint, invitation, regular telephone contact, etc.). At the same time, the knowledge of Spanish grammar typical for business discourse (numerals, use of pronouns, use of conjunctions and prepositions, morphology of verbs) is consolidated and deepened.
The student will have been introduced to the problems of Spanish for Business and Law.
Prerequisites
The prerequisite is knowledge of the Spanish language at B1+ level. Only for students that have Spanish as a foreign language.

Student performance assessment, Analysis of student's language skills, Test, Interim evaluation

1. Regular attendance (3 absences allowed) 2. Active participation. 3. Oral presentation in lesson (subject will be specified in the first week of the lesson) 4. Written test - student has 2 possibilities (1 regular and 1 corrective) Students can use the tutorial hours to clarify possible problems in lectures and seminars. Exams and examinations will be written in the exam period according to the dates of the Faculty of Philosophy.
