Learning outcomes
The aim of the lectures in Spanish is an overview of the development of Spanish literature from its beginnings to the Golden Age. An overview of the thematic and genre development of Spanish literature; knowledge of the main characters and the most important texts. The aim of the seminars is to teach students, on the basis of the interpretation of selected texts and works of compulsory basic reading, to evaluate a literary work and place it in contexts (historical, literary, etc.).
Knowledge of the history of the Spanish written literatures of the particular period.

No special prerequisites.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written examination, Student performance assessment, Analysis of creative work (musical, visual, literary)

Compulsory attendance at a seminar (maximum 3 absences allowed), active participation, individual home preparation, compulsory reading, paper and final test of all competencies achieved. The student has 3 attempts to obtain a credit. The final test terms will be listed in the relevant exam period according to the schedule of the Faculty of Arts of the JU.
