Course content
The internship is carried out according to the plan under the guidance of a trained, qualified mentor from the given workplace, who shares responsibility for the student. Designated workplaces for teaching are selected based on established standards. The scope and content of individual practice is defined by the study plan, the nature of the study practice and the internal regulations, which determine the formal and content conditions of practical teaching.

Learning outcomes
The goal of individual practice is to gain a connection to the theoretical subjects and the opportunity to become familiar with the operation of individual institutions or organizations participating in rescue, liquidation or restoration work in the event of an extraordinary event or crisis situation. The internship will be carried out individually in each year at a different selected workplace. Professional practice enables students to apply the theoretical knowledge and practical skills they have acquired by studying theoretical and theoretically practical study disciplines in classrooms and laboratories in the conditions of specialized workplaces. It provides space for improving skill, skills and habits, teaches students independence, responsibility and teamwork.
Acquired qualifications: The graduate has basic knowledge about the nature and scope of work at selected workplaces and facilities. Individual practice includes (depending on the chosen workplace): ? evaluation of potential risks of A (nuclear), B (biological), C (chemical) substances in a given location; ? analysis of documents of the relevant department (department) of crisis management with regard to the most significant local risk; ? recognition and processing of written instructions from the crisis plan of the region or municipality with extended scope and the emergency plan of the region; ? possibilities of providing consulting activities for selected groups of the population or facilities in the preparation of crisis and emergency plans; ? experience in the laboratories of crisis management workplaces; ? checking the location and knowledge of the use of means of individual and collective protection against A, B, C substances by workers or residents.

Assessment methods and criteria

The condition for granting credit is the preparation of a written report on the professional experience during the summer holiday in the scope of at least 1 page of A4 and the submission of a practice diary confirmed by the training workplace.
