The aim of the subject is to acquaint students with the classification and typologies of extraordinary events and possible solutions to minimize damage. The classification of risks for the needs of crisis management is based on examining the connections between dangers and potential real damages in a specific place and time. The typology of extraordinary events will also be applied within the course from the point of view of the possibility of crisis management.
After completing the course, the student is able to analyze and break down individual types of emergency events and take these facts into account when implementing population protection measures and crisis management.
