Lectures (1 lessons): 1. Characteristics and distribution of CBRNE weapons; 2. Classification and distribution of chemical warfare agents (BCHL); 3. Chemical weapons, ammunition, improvised explosive system (IVS); 4. Industrial toxic substances; 5. Biological weapons; 6. Radiological weapons; 7. Nuclear weapons; 8. Development and history of use of CBRNE weapons; 9. Organization, main stages and steps in dealing with a CBRNE incident; 10. Negotiations and agreements on the prohibition of the use of CBRNE weapons, explosives; 11. Terrorism using CBRNE substances; 12. National and international legislation related to CBRNE weapons.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the subject is to acquaint students with possible ways of using CBRNE weapons, from military use to civilian use, during possible terrorist attacks and the responses of the security system to these threats. The content of the subject is focused on the historical development of CBRNE weapons, the principles and division of CBRNE weapons, the international convention on the prohibition of their use and the reaction of the security system of the Czech Republic, mainly the components of the IRS, to possible terrorist attacks carried out by CBRNE weapons.
After completing the course, the student will have knowledge of the basic principles and methods of misuse of CBRNE weapons, and the student will be familiar with the tasks and activities that selected authorities of the security system perform to ensure the security of the republic in the event of possible misuse of CBRNE weapons in the Czech Republic.
