Course content
1. Theoretical definition of social rehabilitation in the context of social rehabilitation and complex rehabilitation - the processing of theoretical of theoretical literature search according of the professional literature. 2. Defining the methods of social work implemented in social rehabilitation 3. The role of a social worker as a professional in social rehabilitation. 4. Assessment of the client's life situation, theoretical basis ? children. Case study. 5. Assessment of the client's life situation, theoretical basis ? adults. Case study. 6. Assessment of the client's life situation, theoretical basis ? seniors. Case study. 7. Assessment of the client's life situation, theoretical basis ? people with dementia. Case study. 8. Social rehabilitation for people in an unfavorable social situation. 9. Social rehabilitation of persons with psychiatric disease. Case reports. 10. Social rehabilitation of people in difficult social situations. Case reports. 11. Social rehabilitation of persons with mental disabilities. Case study. 12. Social rehabilitation of persons with hearing and multiple disease. Case study. 13. Excursion in social facilities Nr. 1. 14. Excursion in social facilitities Nr. 2.

Learning outcomes
Theoretical definition of social rehabilitation in the context of social rehabilitation and complex rehabilitation - the processing of theoretical of theoretical literature search according of the professional literature. Defining the methods of social work implemented in social rehabilitation.The role of a social worker as a professional in social rehabilitation.
Students gain: 1. theoretical assumptions about the professional assessment of the social situation 2. practical skills leading to the implementation of social rehabilitation of the client.
Prerequisites
There are no specific requirements for this course. It is necessary to study recommended literature and discuss selected topics during lectures and seminars.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Interview, Systematic student observation, Seminar work

The course is completed credit and oral exam. Terms of credit: 1. active participation in lectures and work in student´s group work; 2. processing and presentation of a seminar paper on the assigned topic. 3. participation in the excursion . After getting the credit students may complete oral exam. Oral exam: Students proceed to the oral exam after successfully obtaining credit by the deadline listed in the system STAG.
