Course content
1. Professional relationship with a social worker and client. 2. Stages socioterapeutického process 3. The social history. 4. Social diagnosis. 5. Plan social therapy. 6. Social intervention. 7. Termination of the case, Evaluation sociotherapy 8. Typology of clients, the client is suicidal features 9. Manipulative client, the client Silent 10. Involuntary client Aggressive Client 11. Depressed client 12. Social work with families 13. Field of Social Work 14. Supervision in social work, prevention of burnout Seminars: 1 - 2 Techniques of active listening, verbal, nonverbal communication - practical examples. Stages socioterapeutického process, group work, case studies, training agreement on cooperation between the social worker and client. Video - example of direct work with clients. 3 - 4 Types of questions, asking questions, taking social history - work in groups. Graphical representation of the model family of maps (genogram, ekomapa) - work in groups. 5 - 6 Plan social therapy, social interventions, termination of the case - analysis of cases, discussion. 7 - 8 Typology of the client. Video-client suicidal features, discussion. 9 - 10 Manipulative client, aggressive client, and involuntary silent client - video, work in groups - assertive training techniques. 11 - 12 Depressed clients - video, discussion. Social work with families 13 - 14 Field social work - work in groups. Supervision and prevention of burnout - work in groups.

Learning outcomes
In this course students learn about theories in social work and methodical procedure in social work in solving social problems of clients, the issue of clinical social work, enhance the skills and knowledge that will be the starting basis for their social work practice. It is concerned with theoretical concepts, models and stages of work with the client. This course includes a familiarization with the field of social works. The seminar will be able to adopt different approaches to the methodological approach in solving social problems of clients.
The student identifies with the social work profession, acquainted with the requirements of the professional relationship with a social worker and client, learn socioterapeutického stage process. Students are familiar with the basic typology of clients.

Getting credit from the course Theory and Methods of Social Work 1 (KSU/LLTM1).

Oral examination, Student performance assessment, Systematic student observation, Test

To participate actively at seminars; team cooperation.Reading. Subject is terminated by inclusion (80% success) - 1 regular regular term and 2 reparative exam + oral exam - 1 regular regular term and 2 reparative exam.
