Course content
1. Introduction to study at ZSF JU (structure of ZSF JU, advantages connected with study at ZSF JU - VPN, access to databases, access to data processing programs via CITRIX). 2. Online resources, possibilities of the Academic Library JU - I. 3. Online resources, possibilities of Academic Library JU - II. 4. Typology of outputs in individual subjects. Formal requirements (essay, reasoning, etc.). - I. 5. Typology of outputs in individual subjects. Formal requirements (essay, reasoning, etc.). - II. 6. Citation rules, plagiarism. 7. Presentation of their work - rules, didactic principles. 8. Study plan, syllabus of individual subjects in time sequence. Structure and conditionality of subjects and their importance in time sequence. 9. STAG and e-learning MOODLE. Benefits for students. 10. Combined study - requirements, specifics. 11. Program studied - its specifics. Study program title, legislative anchoring, professional competence. 12. The international dimension of the program, history, great personality of the program. 13. Learning outcomes
Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim is to acquaint students with the specific requirements of study at ZSF JU in connection with the study program. A partial goal is to inform students about the possibilities and benefits associated with studying at ZSF JU, the employment of graduates in practice and professional competences.
Students will be able to orientate themselves in organizational structure of ZSF JU, basic documents and regulations related to study. Students will acquire information about the possibilities of the Academic Library of the JU, citation rules and plagiarism. Student has information about didactic principles and rules of presentation of his work. The student knows the specifics of the studied study program, legislative anchorage and professional competence.
