The course of study is focused on coordinated rehabilitation, for which a holistic concept of the human being is essential, allowing to perceive the human being as a bio-psycho-social and spiritual being, thus preventing reductionism, i.e. the omission of any of the components. The circular support of a multidisciplinary team of professionals is essential for the functionality of coordinated rehabilitation. The United Nations defines rehabilitation as a process aimed at enabling persons with disabilities to achieve and maintain an optimal level of physical, sensory, intellectual, psychological and social functioning, as well as providing them with the means to transform their lives to achieve a higher level of independence.
