Course content
Lectures (7 two-hour lectures) 1. Coordinated rehabilitation, terminology. International documents. 2. Coordinated rehabilitation in the EU countries. Comparison. Evidence- based coordinated rehabilitation. 3. Social services in the system of coordinated rehabilitation 4. Social services - ways of help, providers and accessibility. Register of social services. 5. Quality of social services. Measuring of the quality. 6. Healthcare services in the system of coordinated rehabilitation. Catalogue, register and offers of healthcare services. 7. Health insurance agencies. Seminars (7 two-hour seminars) 1. Coordinated rehabilitation, area of problems coordination in practice. Case studies. 2. Evidence-based coordinated rehabilitation. Searching for examples of the best practice. Focus on target groups. Thesis presentations (the best practice in the system of coordinated rehabilitation). 3. Social services and their implementation. Quality. Examples of good practice. 4. Individual plan - its development taking into account the principles of coordinated rehabilitation. Establishment of cooperation. Case studies. 5. Healthcare services - examples of good practice. Learning outcomes
The goal of the subject is to make students acquainted with social and healthcare services and their implementation in the system of coordinated rehabilitation, and to present the structure of social and healthcare services and measurements of its quality.
Achieved competences Students will acquire the knowledge relating to the system of providing social and healthcare services in the Czech Republic. Furthermore, they will be able to coordinate the development of individual plans for clients taking into account all components of coordinated rehabilitation. They will be aware of risks and shortcomings in this area.
Prerequisites
The prerequisite for mastering the subject is previous study in the field of social work education.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written examination, Student performance assessment

Ungraded assessment: seminar work (5 - 10pages) following the quotation norm and the Faculty`s requirements to write a thesis. Exam: written test, min. 70%
